Just watched Dolphins-Bears. Guess what? Ryan Tannehill's a big time quarterback. Last 3 weeks, has been as good as anyone.

Watch the TD pass Tannehill throws to Wallace. Across the body. Big time play

No doubt Tannehill must be more consistent with success, but he deserves credit today especially given the criticism he gets after losses.

Ryan Tannehill’s 14 straight completions to start Sunday’s game are tied for most of any QB in last 5 years — and he’s done it twice in '14.

Tannehill is just 3rd player in @nfl history with 275+ passing yards, completion percentage of 78.0+ and 45+ rushing yards in a single game.

I agree with this, I've been very critical of him this season so I'm more than willing to give him credit for playing well yesterday.

Now lets hope for CONSISTENCY because at the end of the day that is what we've been lacking at the QB position since forever it seems.

Thats a pretty nice deal. Keep it up kid!

@JeffDarlington T-Hill last 3 games, 68 of 94 (72%) for 799 yards (8.5 YPA), 6 TDs and 3 INTs for a 105.7 QBR plus 132 rushing yards.

#Dolphins OC Bill Lazor said QB Ryan Tannehill is getting better and he's excited about where he can go.

Andrew Abramson ‏@AbramsonPBP · 5m5 minutes ago
Lazor on read option: Every day, practice and games, he gets better at it. He's confident in it. It helped us win the game.

Lazor on read option: We give RT the option. Every single day he gets better at making the decision & he's very confident #Dolphins

I did not see any progression through the first 3 games, but he has been improving weekly since the Raider game in London. I definitely had doubts after how last year ended and this year began, but it was an utter pleasure watching him yesterday and in the second half last week

RT needs more consistency. He has done some good things in his three years, but he must find more consistency. He has had a heck of a 6 quarter span.

even more impressive, Tannehill in Miami last two wins: 48-63 555 yards 76% completion rate with 4 td's - 1 int and rating of 114.

No QB plays lights out all the time. Look at the last 3 games:

He should get credit for stringing three games together. That's half of the season and the most recent three games. Coincidentally, we are one tackle away from being 3-0 in that stretch, including 2 on the road.

The consistency is getting better. Ball placement has been better, he's made better decisions on the read option, I think it's coming. Obviously slower than all of us would like but it's 6 years of bad coaching from Sherman and Zac Taylor that Lazor is trying to undo. It takes time.

He does deserve credit for his recent play, it has clearly improved. Time will tell if it is sustainable, and he is more than a .500 QB. He has the weapons and the Oline so there are no more excuses left. Let's hope he can sustain it as we start to face some of the tougher defenses like the Lions, Jets, Bills and Chargers.

The only way Tannehill will be magically *consistent* is when those on this team who consistently fail in blocking and consistently fail in high level play are no longer starters.

Way, way too high a level of consistent FAILURE by certain players who are starters on this team. Players often puffed by people on this board, lol.

Hopefully he's getting more comfortable. And I hope him being more comfortable will lead to him being more consistant.

So the many plays where he gets protection and throws the ball inaccurately is who's fault then?
