Yes, it might seem a bit concerning that quarterback Trent Green has thrown a fair share of interceptions five days into training camp. And yes, it also could be a bit alarming that he was taking repetitions with the second-team offense Wednesday.

Green and coach Cam Cameron, however, had explanations for each potential issue.


For starters -- and perhaps to alleviate the most pressing issue -- Green is not the backup quarterback just because Cleo Lemon was practicing with the first team during team drills.
