OLB Quentin Moses - This name might surprise most, but Moses is a long shot to make the 53-man roster unless he suddenly becomes a dynamic special teams contributor, which isn't likely based on his showing the past two seasons. The Dolphins have enough project pass rushers, and what they need from their backups are wedge busters. Moses isn't eligible for the practice squad, and he's too thin to fill in as a part-time defensive end like Matt Roth, Jason Taylor, Cameron Wake and Tearrius George. That's why it might be best not to prolong the inevitible, giving this former third-round pick an opportunity to latch onto another team before the exhibition season begins.
THE CHURN ZONE
TE Jared Bronson - Ernest Wilford's fulltime move from receiver to tight end makes this a very crowded group of six. Thisundrafted rookie from Central Washington did little to secure his footing as a practice squad prospect during the summer. The Dolphins will already have a hard time finding a spot for John Nalbone, the team's fifth-round draft pick, so Bronson has an uphill battle.
