I have noticed this happening this year over and over again and it falls directly on Sparano, PP, and Henning.

Why in gods name does our defense show their hand REPEATEDLY pre-snap? I mean you're playing against a very smart qb and a head coach that knows what to do in just about every situation? STOP DOING THIS!!

On the same token, WHY IN THE HELL DOES GROVE NOT MAKE PROPER ADJUSTMENTS TO THE BLOCKING SCHEME AS WELL AS HENNE WHEN IT IS OBVIOUS THAT THEY ARE BLITZING?!?!? I have seen this over and over and over again and it is driving me crazy.

Other than that and the obvious things like dropped passes, we were just outplayed by a better team. We are starting 2 rookies at cb and Wilson and Bell aren't cutting it and haven't really been all year. Oh and we have to do something at linebacker this offseason. We have absolutely NO versatility with our linebackers. Roth is good against the run, suck as the pass. Taylor and Porter are useless against the run and only can blitz in hopes of getting to the qb. Porter talks so much smack and yet he had one qb pressure?!?! STFU dude...seriously. Taylor? Did you even play.

Time to absolutely clean house at linebacker IMO. It is really killing this team, especially in coverage.

Have to agree. Especially about our adjustments to the blitz and really a lot of it is the play calling. On almost every3rd down that is over 5 yards we go to the shotgun with 2 backs next to Henne. Henne has at most 3 passing options because the backs always stay in and block!!! This allows teams to send all out blitzes because our WR's get no separation and even if they did the blitz gets there before Henne can step into a throw. On 3rd and long Henning needs to either call more screens or start splitting more guys out. This is getting painful to watch because right when you see tha blitz coming you know a sack will follow shortly.

I just don't understand why they keep doing it! Inexperience? Coaching? Combination of the two?

This falls on the coaching IMO.

Sparano and Henning are limiiting the offense and setting it up for another era. In todays NFL if you don't have a good passing game, your going to struggle and wind up being mediocre.

What does this have to do with what I was saying about blowing our blitzing schemes pre-snap and also not making the proper line calls?

Lets say we do what you say. We still lose.

Play calling has hit a alltime low. The wildcat is being abused. You run that pass play on 1st down not 2nd and 10. Yea the one that cost us the game.

All out blitzes and no running back screen today. None. At all. Failure on Henning. Pat White made him look good for a couple plays but you can't rely on that all the time. Get more consistent Henning and throw the ball to what may be our best WR's our RB's.

So your advocating for our defenders who are coming on the blitz to keep biting on the hard count and show their hand before the snap? Makes a ton of sense.

This also bodes true for the o-lines inability to make the correct calls.
