now that we were not able to get arrington maybe we can use that money to get ty i mean he is still a great cb and had 10 picks last year.we lost madison it is a pretty big hole to fill we need to fill it with a good veteren i don't know much about allen but he seems to be alright...:dolphins:

He is a hell of a player but is way too spendy. We have guys like Will Poole and Travis Daniels who can be a good 2-3 punch. I expect Poole to bounce back and start next year and Daniels is an outstanding nickle. I'll pass on Law and his big contract.

I'd love to have him but Law will command way too much money and will land on a team with more cap space.

Please stop with the Lavar and Ty Law crap!We are not signing Ty Law.Saban has proved that he will NOT overpay for anyone.Signing Lavar would have been a sweet addition to allow us to stop worrying about a position.Saban showed that he was not going to jepardize our cap for the future with stupid signings. Our secondary is not in as bad of shape as everyone around the leauge thinks. When Will Poole wins the starting job,you will understand that.

charles woodson any one???????

ok look ty and woodson may be askin for alot of money but in a matter of 1/2 weeks time their prices will drop like crazy.so i think we should get 1 of them.also you guys say we have pretty good CBs which is kind of right, but all are CBs or DBs are average, we have NO CB to gaurd players like moss, chad jonh,s smith, and players like that. we need a big time DB (mostly a CB) to guard the big time WRs or else we will get burned by them every time.

Who's to say Will Poole can't be that type of player. He did pretty good against Chad Johnson his rookie year. Plus, the Dolphins defense has more to do with the system Saban has in place now. The Patriots haven't had big time corners the last couple of seasons either and have done pretty good. The Dolphins are doing the same type of thing.

Will just came off a major injury, hasn't played in 1 year and only has 1 year experince, do you really think hes ready to gaurd randy moss and WRs like him?also pats had GREAT DB 2 years ago with harrison and ty along wit samuel and thats when they did dirt.last year they didnt have great DBs(but had good 1s) but had great everything else to make up for the bad DB which we don't, also dont forget that pats almost didnt make the playoffs last year,if it wasn't for the teddy come back they would of missed the playoffs.

I have a feeling that the money saved by not signig Arringtton this year (very good player, but the giants definitely overpaid), is going to pay off bigtime in the next year or two. By then Saban will know exactly what the team needs to succeed. He already is very close, which in my mind is amazing for having only coached this team one year. The extra cap room will allow Saban to pursue TRUE star players at positions we are in need of. Don't get me wrong, Arrington is very good, and probably the most athletically gifted LB in the NFL, he just doesn't have what it takes mentally to be TRUELY dominant in this league. I can't even begin to imagine the numbers ZT would put up with Arrington's athletic skill/size/speed/etc......it would just be so revolting and sick that...... I think....I'm gonna puke:barf:

what your sayin could be true but if saban is doin that, it kind of sounds like hes giving up on the 2006/2007 season, to prepare him self for the 2207/2008 season and i dont think hes doin that.
