Well...since it is the offseason, and everybody comes up with free agent ideas...i figured id throw the name out there, since it would happen sooner or later, lets get it over with.
They owe him like 6-7 mil for the upcomming season...and it looks like chiefs are also planning to do some rebuilding themselves...So theres a chance he might be released, and if he will be...
Thoughts?

Uhm maybe for one year, I would bring him in. I would not bring him in any longer. Our rookie DB could learn from him for one year. Yet, I dont think he would want to come here, I wouldn't be surprised to see him back in NE for one last year to try and win a championship.

The only old CB I would take right now is Surtain, i'll pass on Law. If we get Law we might as well try to sign Zach back 1st for a lesser amount.

Yes, lets not start over and get younger..lets sign over the hill players to fill in as starters giving NO chance to the younger players who will be the basis for this team.
Get smart people and not think about anyone 30 and over....

Law is worse than Will Allen because of his age, but better than all other corners on our team. If the price is right, he would add depth to a position where we need some. Law gets interceptions, while our corners don't.

I'd rather have Surtain, and move Will Allen to #2. I wouldn't mind having Surtain, Allen, and Law as the nickel.

We need at least 1 new corner, and probably 2 new corners. I wouldn't be surprised if we draft a corner in the 1st or 2nd round.

Perhaps sign 1 and draft 1, and the new draft pick plays Nickel.

Law is way passed his prime, we don't need him at all expecially if he was looking for money around 6-7 mill.

I would take him for one, maybe two seasons at the right price. Especially if we draft a guy early. Let the new guy play in the nickel.

Another option with Law, is moving him to Free Safety for a year or 2.

The old corner playing safety has been done with Former Dolphins Calvin Jackson and Troy Vincent, and Baltimore Ravens Deion Sanders. I think T-buck played some safety with the Patriots.

It might be a nice, cheap bandaid with all of our holes on our team. I've always liked the idea of plugging in older hall-of-fame corners at Safety.

We talked about adding Law last time he was available. He was too old then and he's too old now.
