Is he still available?? why dont we sign him to be a mentor/stopgap until we draft and prepare the corner of the future? JUST AN IDEA

I LOVE these no answers. do you care to explain why not? he is older i understand but when grooming younger players i believe it is good to have older more experienced guys to help for development... especially if his asking price isnt too high... ty law is a former probowler

The answer is No, because he's not worth what he's going to want (money wise), plus he's over the hill

FORMER pro bowler. We are probably not going to have a very successful season anyway. Why would we stunt the growth of a younger player who could contribute when we are ready to contend by putting in an old corner who has clearly lost a step. And dont say to teach that player, I would buy that if this werent Ty Law.

I don't see him playing for the Dolphins this year, and I wouldn't be surpriesed to see him retire as well.

I'd rather let our coaching staff groom our young players and not pay for some old vet that will cost too much

I think with that particular "no" answer it is obviuos why we shouldn't sign him.

Jason was the defensive player of the year the season before last so it's just wrong to say his career is over as he's getting recognition like that. Sorry to confuse anyone with the facts. Jason still plays at a VERY high level.
