Has anyone seen this guy play? This kid is very underrated IMO. Very accurate, pocket passer, poised. Everyone hypes up Brady Quinn, Drew Stanton, Troy Smith, Henne; they're all great players but this kid is doing his thing behind the media hype.

I like this kid, who knows he may be a steal in the later rounds, unless he jumps up to the first round like Jay Cutler did. Great prospect IMO.

Best QB in Pitt since Dan Marino.

And? Dave Wannstedt will pay us back in FULL for many years of bringing in terrible QB's.

Plus Wannstedt is doing great at Pittsburgh, and has that team playing well both offensively and defensively. Hell, he converted some of his defensive back's into linebackers, they might have the fastest linebackers in College Football, and they are doing great too.

Tyler Palko is a great talent, and a great prospect. No reason to ignore that, not even because he is playing under Wannstedt.

No....just no. I've been near or around Pitt for the past 4 years and Pitt has played no one and when they actually play someone, Palko folds under pressure badly. He can't read defenses whatsoever. It seems pretty easy to have pretty good stats if you play the Citadel, UConn, USF and Cincy. Palko is a 5th rounder at best and I'm pretty sure his play has digressed since Wanny arrived.

Most teams play a bunch of "nobodies" in College Football. Troy Smith struggled against that "Cincy" defense for god's sake.

This kid has improved every season, and is doing better now on Wannstedt's second year. Like I said, there's no reason to ignore the talent, he has it and he will only get better with coaching, as he has proven to be coachable.

If we can get Palko for a 5th round pick, that will be an absolute steal.

No he is coached by Wanny! (right?).

Okay you have to understand something, Instate rivals play extremly tuff Cincy knew OSU better than anyone.

Must say I'm not completely sold on Palko. I've seen him play numerous times and I'm not sure if its his decision making or the system that Cavanaugh and Wanny have installed up there but it was pretty rough to watch last season. Looks alittle better this season but I definitely think there are much better options out there.

Palko has a hell of an arm. He's also as tough as shoe leather. He has been compared to Brett Favre when he was in college.

I like part about having a strong arm and being as tough as shoe leather but not that part about making bad desicions and not reading defenses is something that bugs me out.
