Tyreek Reeking Again

WTF, watch football becides this shitty Dolphins team and its painfully obvious Baker was a top 5 QB last year..... he was actually top 3 statistically!
Did you actually write “becides” and your spell check let it pass? 🤣

Oh… and are we using stats now?

oh i agree the loose screws will not be tightened. sadly, in the sport of football, it tends to get worse and not better. a fair bit of tyreeks antics are on him. but some of the recent stuff may be due to repeated head trauma on top of it all. it is hard to know. this is one of the downsides of the game. it is weird, because he seems to be a bad guy, but a bad guy with some good qualities. he for the most part seemed to be a pretty good teammate, until last year. worked hard, seemed to go at it hard on the field, that sort of stuff. but then he does all the stupid sh*t, personal life dumb things, and i guess he started to become not such a good teammate last year. anyway i hope the guy gets his sh*t together for his own good, but if i had to bet, he is more likely to go antonio brown than he is likely to turn into mother theresa
Hill's current problems are IMO related to one thing and it's called "Divorce". Having been there and done that, I empathize with Hill in that respect. I came un-glued in just about all aspects of my life in a very short time. I eventually came to realize it was not all her fault, mostly mine, but not all mine either. Once I came to realize that it was really neither of our faults for just not being compatible, I was able to let it go. Hill is not there yet, but he will get there. Unfortunately, with me and apparently Hill, it goes downhill before you get a grip. It was one of those "Life lessons" I learned as a younger man.

i understand that perspective, but disagree. in this case, the divorce is his fault. look at how he behaves. the divorce is a symptom of his behavior, it is not a cause. tyreek was going off the rails last year, long before this. this is not one of those divorces where two people just grow apart.

Oh I agree. It is probably not just Tyreek that feels this way, but the other players are more professional about it and keep their mouths shut. But it is tough to blame anyone for feeling like they probably do. That is human nature. You see all the money Tua is making, and he is out of shape and partying on the boat, while he cannot stay on the field, and cannot come up big in big games against better opposition, so yeah, I strongly suspect there are other players that feel similarly. When a QB is paid like an alpha dog, they need to play and act like an alpha dog and be a leader by example on and off the field. Tyreek is the wrong type of WR to be on a team without an alpha dog playing the QB position and boat captain. Tyreek is what he is. And what he is is not a good fit for where the organization is now. This is not to absolve Tyreek, he is a mess. But he is the type of mess that could add value in the right situation, and the right situation and set of conditions is not in Miami w our QB, our coach, our GM, our owner, and our culture. He needs to be in a no nonsense organization with a total stud at QB and a total no nonsense coach and organization that keeps things in line. And even then, it may not work. Antonio Brown managed to blow up at the end with Brady too. Which is why I keep hoping they move Tyreek before he becomes utterly worthless and we get nothing for him.

Out of shape and fat?

I’m not talking about younger or cheaper or if you like their personality. Not a single one of them are a better cb than Ramsey right now
well hopefully you are right, then we should at least fetch a 2nd rounder in a trade for him, if not a first, or even more. his age should be irrelevant if you are right, because if he is still hands down the BEST cb in the league right now, even factoring in some decay, in two more years he should still be top 10. so if you can get the best cb in the league for this year, #5 for next year, and #10 for the year after that, heck, we should be able to fetch a lot in a trade. not that i believe any of this, but if what you are claiming is right, there should be multiple bidders lining up for him, and we are going to get a lot of draft compensation in return. heck, chubb was far from the best edge in the NFL, and injury prone, unlike Ramsey, and we still gave up a first for him and then paid the guy through the nose. so if you are right, the market will bear it out!

There are multiple teams currently trying to trade for Ramsey. We won’t get anything significant due to his age and contract. We got him for a 3rd so the best we could hope for is a 4th or 5th.
We also don’t have any leverage. I believe we just want Ramsey out of the locker room as he’s been a cancer but that doesn’t mean he’s not the best cb in the league right now.
