As some of you may have seen (and probably don't care about ) My hometown Sioux City -- Iowa-- Bandits are now # 1 in the United Indoor Football League playoffs. Some may rememeber my thread last year of us being knocked out of the playoffs in Omaha when a fan jumped out of the stands and knocked down a sure-fire TD for my Bandits (that was in our old league, the N.I.F.L -- which Miami now has a team in). Well, we're back and we're kickin' @ss going into round two. The previously #1 seeded team, Fort Wayne Indiana was upset by #7 Tennessee Valley....who Sioux City will face in Round 2 (we crushed them in the last game of the regular season).

Why am I telling you all this? Because it's huge for us and this off season cure has turned into 'mania' I hope to soon be posting a championship banner....the inaugural championship could possibly be held here in Sioux City ray: So keep your eyes peeled for our hopeful championship. :up: How fantastic would it be to post a championship banner for my Sioux City Bandits and OUR COLLECTIVE Miami Dolphins in the SAME FREAKIN' YEAR???!!!! ray: ray: ray: ray:

As I said, an off-season cure. It's turned into more than that though....we have been in a division with Omaha and Sioux Falls for awhile and it's pretty much like Fins vs. Jets around here. We used to play Lincoln before they opted not to enter the U.I.F. (they're still in the N.I.F.L.). Being bigger market cities they should kill us but that's not the case.
