Fins tightend wows could have been solved right here at there own front door if they took Graham ..I wanted them to......

He was one of my Draft Man Crushes that year. I wanted him reallly bad, and yes it had alot to do with the fact he was from Miami but also I think he had the softest hands in the combine. Man he really put on a show.

It is what It is.

For some reason this front office refuses to find actual talent at TE, instead settling for D-grade tight ends with a warm body. They do not look at TE with any significance, we've seen this since this regime arrived.

This is not even a hindsight argument. MANY of us on FH really wanted Miami to take Graham at the time. Sparano was smitten by Jerry. Edds was saved for the Pats. Take our 3rd and 4th, and we could have found some really good players in that draft. FH fans were all over Graham or even Aaron Hernandez. Next time some yahoo wants to say the FO are professionals and automatically know better than us stupid fans, think again. Its frustrating as a fan to know the right thing to do and have the FO not do it.

Its not just Graham or THIS FO. There have been all pros and future HOFs coming from the U for years and we have passed. Even during the glory years we passed. They must be suffering from Yatil Green hangover. That's the only possible explanation.

He wasn't drafted because he's from North Carolina not New Jersey and he's not italian.

He would have gotten wasted last year under Henning and I have my doubts of where his development would be right now had Miami drafted him. Wasn't a great blocker coming out and Miami clearly wants a TE that can block. They feel they can get that athletic guy in the bargain bin. Clearly not.

FYI I also wanted Jimmy Graham in the 3rd round.

Other teams have moved to drafting multiple talented TEs and using them as offensive weapons. However, we don't draft TEs. I don't get it... Is this one of Parcells golden rules? Don't spend high draft picks on creative talented TEs.

This. If he was here, we'd all be complaining about missing on guys like Hernandez and Gronkowski while these guys wasted a 3rd round pick on a basketball player that cant get on the field.

C'mon people. Jimmy Graham is a big, athletic, fast TE with a ton of upside...why the heck would we want that?

i understand this thread but really the guy had 3-4 catches and a td late on a blown coverage..get a grip he isnt antonio gates or dallas clark. i am not pro fasano but its ridicolous how we want any other te. like Boss and all the man crushes he has exactly the same stats as fasano, exactly...gram had 350 yds last year. cmon...we just want anybody thats not on our team.

He has more potential to be Gates/Clark than Fasano ever will. I'm cool with Fasano, but when you have a guy like Fasano, average but able to block and catch, you need a guy who can compliment ala David Martin in 2008. The regime saw this and have failed for 3 years to bring in a compliment to Fasano. On paper, Jimmy Graham would have been an ideal compliment . . . his upside is tremendous.

Who would want Jimmy Graham. He only played 1 year of college football. Forget the fact that he's a 6'6" super athletic TE with soft hands and all the potential in the world. Take a fat *** lazy lineman instead.
