What a talent, what a waste. This guy wasWe had this guy once before. His name was Cecil Collins.
the diesel could have been special. I remember the first time I saw him play. I think it was against the Colts. Marino hands him the ball and he just explodes for five yards like nothing. So much talent. JJ didn’t have much luck with RBs.We had this guy once before. His name was Cecil Collins.
Given our affinity for "high character" guys, I'd imagine there was a lot of homework done before signing this guy. Who knows though? I thought Cecil Collins had turned a corner, and well, we all know how that ended....different regimes though. As long as he doesn't bring to the table what he brought for tutoring sessions as A&M.
Hopefully he learned a lesson and matured real quick.
this guys is going to take grant or wilsons job.
I hope he has a sense of humor.no way the kid is 4.3
funny his height varies on the web from 5-10 to 6-1!
He may have a challenge dealing with the high humidity in SFL
>>> triggering a massive outbreak of his jock itch problem!
I bet Flo will have him on aggressive doses of baby powder!
Or maybe corn starch.
Otherwise -- the kid looks interesting!

Jakeem has displayed great handsIf his legal issues are resolved and he behaves, I can see him take Grant's role of PR, KR and 3rd or 4th receiver. Grant is always one hit from getting injured and I don't see him staying healthy all year.
Looks explosive as hell.
But I'm rooting for these kids, (him/Cole) to take away the roster spot of Hurns, potentially Grant eventually too. Hopefully we get to see them in some pre season action.
Curious if Merritt's "4.3" speed is legit?
Pulling for him! Take Grants job and run with itwell, this is an interesting take on his athleticism:
