Congrats to Portugal (minus Ronaldo).
A lot of talk about the quality of Euro 2016. I am a little divided about the increase to 24 teams. I think the quality has suffered tremendously because some teams just should not have been there. On the other hand teams like Wales and Iceland were such a pleasure to watch and the enthusiasm of those teams and their fans.

My negatives
- Quality of play
- Portugal worst Euro Champion since Greece in 2004
- French soccer fans for immediately adapting the Iceland "Hu" chant. At least leave that honor to Iceland until Euro is finished.
- Disappointing Spain, Austria and Belgium

My positives
- The clear winner was ESPN with an excellent coverage. They did everything right. From the onsite setup (river Seine and the Eifel Tower in the back) to an extremely knowledge cast compromised of former US and International greats. Informative, funny......When it comes to providing soccer coverage through ESPN we are World Champions. Fox Sports in their coverage of Copa paled.
- Refreshing teams like Wales and Iceland
- Irish Soccer fans. Can their be anybody better representing soccer and their country than Irish fans. Fun, hilarious.....
