Ufa Dolphins Should Sign Soon

Jason Glenn is a UFA and is not signed yet. Fins need him for depth. He is a monster on special teams and played very well in preseason. He is one of those players that is stuck on the bench unless there is an injury to one of our key LB's. IMO, Glenn is a very good LB who if givin a chance could be a great LB in this league but since he will not get that chance here he will only be good and not great. Dolphins still should sign him as a backup soon. Also IMO Spragan is very mediocre and expendable even without Arrington.:dolphins:
 
Spragan played well last year, he's a good guy to have around considering our LB depth isn't great atm.

Jason Glenn will never be a great LB in this league, there is a reason we haven't resigned him. He's probably a contingency plan for LaVar.

What have you seen in Glenn to formulate an opinion that he's going to be great?

Spraghan had a good year for us last year. He has some weaknesses in pass coverage, but we knew about that when we signed him. Glenn is career STer. If he breaks the lineup, we're in trouble. No way he has a chance with Spraghan and Hodge...This post reminds me of fans infatuation with WW. Another nice player, but really not a good option at the WR position...Glenn is a beast on STs, but if we pick up Arrington, he won't be re-signed...besides that, he is not a good fit for Capers D...he is too small...
 
Jason Glenn made some very big plays in the pre-season games and also played well for the Jets 2 years ago.

yeah i like rocky calmus he is quality, na'il diggs is pretty good to either of those would be better than glenn
