Eric Fisher would be my choice of what’s out there.

The move most likely activate a tackle from PS - really don’t see them bringing in another tackle off the street at this point.

Me too, but I have to think the reason he’s unsigned is that he’s decided against playing at a price point that makes sense for any team interested in signing him. If he would play at the veteran minimum, or anywhere near there, he’d have a job. He’s a below average starter but would be an excellent backup swing tackle.

Would probably take him or most street guys weeks to get game ready at this point- the season would be about over at that point - that’s why I don’t really see it happening.

Is there one like this for this offseason? We need to strengthen this group, its pretty much a house of cards relying on a very talented but injury prone LT. We need a very good versatile lineman we can slide in that spot so we arent F'd if Terron misses some time. Can't we get Tunsil back? lol

Would probably take him or most street guys weeks to get game ready at this point- the season would be about over at that point - that’s why I don’t really see it happening.

Not only that, but the zone schemes we use are different from what the majority of guys off the street are experienced at doing. Pass pro is one thing, but ZB is not suited to every Tackle out there, and that's not even getting into the learning curve of it.

Agreed. If we were going to bring in a big name, we'd have done it when Jackson went down.
