Just watched NFL channel replay of 2003 game with so many-ugh-memories.....

The defense at its best....'til the end....again

Fiedler on a good day (his receivers making nice adjustments to underthrown passes most of the time)

Chambers 2nd effort fumble and the ball bouncing out of Derrius Thompson's waiting hands for an INT

The beauty (there, I said it) of Ricky churning away and then changing directions and kicking into overdrive in a single move-man that hurt(s)

The call of Mandich (will miss him) and Howard David (always will be associated with Wanny in my mind)

and of course...

Mare missing on the dirt...twice (did inFINSible ever get that head?)

Amazing they were criticizing the playcalling after watching last year's debacle

....also losing Todd Wade and the rise and demise of Jamie Nails will haunt us for a while

OK, let the flaming begin-I'll start....bet there was already a thread on this recently (I know, 3 of them)-well, other than Spielman leaving-inevitable-and Heath Evans medical problems (poor guy, nobody's business but his in early June) nothing interesting so I felt the need to express...I don't know...thankfulness(?) for the renewal of hope betrayed by the JJ-Wanny farce

Did you watch the game? We won by 1 point, on the final play of the game. How is that kicking their a$$?

They were and are the WORLD CHAMPIONS. Any time you beat the best, especially at the end of a train wreck of a season, I think that justifies the term *** KICKING!!!:goof:

Will miss him.....

Believe me, as an overseas fan, we don't chose our games. Last season I saw 3 Dolpins games (obviously bought the whole season on DVD, but it's not the same as gameday). Luckily, we have Field Pass, and believe me, if you're outside the US, Mandich is the voice of the Dolpins, I will miss him so much. I'm used to hearing his voice every sunday and I wish I could again next season.

He is truely the voice of the forgein fans.

sorry guys-this game epitomized everything that has been so agonizingly wrong with our team the last 8-9 years and especially lately-the win against the Pats last year, though sweet, was a miracle comeback consolation prize for a proud franchise become the laughingstock of the NFL...

Then there's no where to go but up Spinelord! It may take 2 or 3 years but Saban will turn our frowns upside down!
BELIEVE!!;)

ill miss him too. i used to turn down the TV and listen to the AM broadcast even with the dam TV delay. ill never forget "bye bye ricky!!!" vs. the jets

I actually predicted the missed field goal possibility a week or two earlier on a website I frequent called Democratic Underground. When the Marlins won their playoff series, I guess against the Cubs, I barged into a baseball thread in a pissed off mood because that meant the dirt infield would remain for the Patriots game. I wrote our kicker Mare was much more erratic than Vinaterri in the clutch and it figured to be such a close low scoring game a missed field goal off the dirt could be the difference. Immediately a fan from Massachusetts scolded me for extreme bizarre negativity. Then within an hour after the Patriots game he found my old post, started a new thread highlighting it, and chortled like hell at how right I was.
