Uncapped Year and Free Agents

I saw on the NFL that some of the best teams(top 8?) will have restrictions on who they can sign. a little bit of good news

If the owners actually wanted an agreement it would already have been done.

There are several reasons the owners want one uncapped year.

There will be no agreement this year. The uncapped year is coming, but they will not force a lockout in 2011. That would be counterproductive.

i have seen too many horrible games by really bad teams that made a profit just being on someones schedule for the last three years, parity is gone and never will come back, i hope the cap never comes back, force teams to draft well and develop players for six years which is a very long time, the cap in the NFL rewards lousy owners and management to sell a premium ticket to a fan and give them 7-9 every year, the second thing is it gives the owners and excuse to the fans, not to resign one of their own players, just think if there was no cap would wes welker be on the patriots right now

dont bring up baseball as a reasonf for a cap either, the last decade teams have figured out what to do, you had two repeat world champs, the yankees who everyone is afraid football would become, had not been to the world series in 6 years and won one in 9 years,

2000 yankees
2001 diamond backs
2002 angels
2003 marlins
2004 redsox
2005 whitesox
2006 cardinals
2007 redsox
2008 phillies
2009 yankees

not to mention that small market teams like the rockies, rays and the astros made it to the world series, god the marlins who no one goes and sees in a horrible ballpark won TWO world series in the last 15 years, would any one of us be happy with TWO super bowls wins in the last decade and a half, instead of the last 37 freaking years, PARITY STINKS
