I do have to say disappointing that he's going into week one as injured, really hope he can find a way to get healthy because talent doesn't matter when can't be on the field.
I'm pretty sure there is no rule that prohibits injured players from traveling to road games. I thought that it was up to the coach/higher ups. So they could just be going along for the ride for "team unity."
I heard both of them got hurt while trying to get on the plane.

it was hard for me to imagine either of them not traveling , injured or not...first game of the season i bet they'll be watching from the sidelines

Just posting, because if they didn't get on the plane and stayed behind to receive treatment we would know they weren't playing.
Pouncey is a team captain but I doubt he plays. I think Parker will play. I wonder if Justin Hunter & Pead got on the plane.
