Hello Finheaven fans,

We are suddenly in contention for the playoffs and possible division win, but I am torn between who to pull for this Thursday Night, do we pull for the Jaguars or the Colts....?

If the Jaguars win, the 72Phins are within 1 of securing their perfect season, if the Colts win, our current team has a better chance of securing a possible wildcard.

What should we do....?

Shouldn't matter either way. We beat the Jags head to head, if we BOTH win out, we'll share the same record and tie breaker in favor of the Phins. I could care less, watch the Ravens, Broncos, Patriots, want THEM to lose. Anyone else is just menial.

The Jags winning doesn't hurt us at all so pull for them to knock the Colts out of the unbeaten.

What your overlooking is that if the Jags beat the Pats we win the Division (if we win out)

...it could.

if we were to finish tied 9-7 with both the Jags and Ravens...we lose that 3-way tie-breaker.

I'm rooting for the Colts. Another L for a wild-card competitor, and I'm hoping the Colts keep playing for the perfect record and beat the Jests next week too.

If we finish 10-6, the Jags-Colts game will be irrelevant. If we finish 9-7, it could be important to our chances to make the playoffs.

The pats already had, and are the only team to have an undefeated 16 game regular season. Does everyone forget that? Having the colts or saints go 16-0 takes that from them. I want that. Now cheering against them in the playoffs, fine, because the superbowl title is the only thing seperating what MIA did and what ne did. But anything else doesn't make sense.

Let it go....

We were the 1st (and so far only team to do it) and it was a team FULL of Hall of Famers! Amazing players like Csonka, Kiick, Morris, Griese, Warfield, Little, Fernandez, Boniconti (sp?), Scott, ...and you can keep rattling off the names...that's how many stars were on that team! For us old-timers who got to see every single game, there are no words to express to the younger Miami fans how utterly awesome that team was under the leadership of Don Shula and his staff. These were smash-mouth, hard-hitting players that never stopped coming at you. "Just ****ing awesome" is barely adequate to describe their intensity and will to win.

No matter what happens in this present season or in future seasons...when it comes to undefeated teams, there will always be the one and only 1972 Miami Dolphins team!

Unique to history...forever honored!!!!

Nope. apparently they get the tie breaker due to having the better conferecne record

We need the colts to win this game as Jags have the tie breaker ahead of us.. Whats more important to you, getting into the playoffs, or not getting into the playoffs? The answer is pretty easy for me.

the colts will collapse in the playoffs, like they always do... too much youth on that offence and peyton's numbers in the playoffs are awful

... and i won't even talk about their defence

New Orleans is a lot more scary to me... they've got EVERYTHING set up for a deep playoff run, superbowl contention, and undefeated season...

Sounds like Indy is resting their players for the rest of the season so I would like to see Indy win Thursday and then Indy can lose a game in the next couple weeks after this week.
