Active Roster
I have seen offseason 'wishlists', wanting Manning, Wayne, Nicks, Mario Williams, Laron Landry.......etc etc
I would love to see a realistic list of underrated Free Agents and reasons why you would want them in Miami.
My list would include:-
Jonathan Fanene DE/DT. In the last 2 season he has played, (injured 2010) in limited playing time he has put up 12.5 sacks. He can play DE on run downs and slide inside on pass downs. When you consider around the league Langford is rated as one of the better 3-4 DE and has only put up 7.5 sacks in 4 seasons, if I was in charge of the money in Miami, im sure Fanene could be signed for a lot less and contribute a lot more.
Dan Connor ILB. Blue collar guy, intelligent football player, who came out of college as a tackling machine, but fell due to 40 time and the devalue at the ILB position. Now we are switching to 4-3, IMO he would plug the gap as a slighty 'poor-mans' Zach Thomas and allow Dansby and Burnett to play OLB. He is also only 26.
Richard Marshall CB/FS. IMO is very underrated. He is only 27 and has been consistantly good for 6 seasons. He has averaged over 60 tackles a year at corner and played very well at CB & FS last year. When you think people are clamouring for the 'overrated' Reggie Nelson after one good season, Richard Marshall put up similar numbers and would be a lot more versatile and cheaper. I would put him at FS, Reshard Jones SS and release Bell as cap casualty.

My list would include:-
Anthony Collins OT. He is the backup to, IMO the most underrated pair of tackles in the NFL, Whitworth and Andre Smith (PFF had Andre Smith as the most improved player from 2010). In 2011 according to PFF, Collins played a total of 89 pass blocking snaps and allowed no sacks, no QB hits and just one pressure. In 2010 he played a total of 151 passing snaps, no sacks, no QB hits and 3 pressures. He is only 26 and IMO would slide right in at RT as a massive upgrade over Columbo and allow us to look elsewhere with 1st pick of draft.
