The Wells Report
None of us will ever know what the status is until a Dolphins official or NFL official tells us. We cannot over look the hairs nest of issues involved here, from the NFLPA, the NFL, to each of the coaches and players (from their personal positions and their job positions) as they all have their own defenses to work out on legal fronts, team guidelines, NFL guidelines, NLPA guidelines, ect. Do not be surprised by other investigations/lawsuits that could be opened because of this. Way too much to be sorted out here.

So for all of you who think Philbin is this, or Philbin is that...... please understand and appreciate the complexity of what is transpiring and what has been transpiring since the report was released. None of it has been ready for the public yet, so just be patient and info will come when it is the right time (which no one can really predict when).

For anyone who actually read the report and had a passing grade in reading & comprehension back in elementary school...

Philbin comes out very clean. Actually for anyone who hasn't had his opinion already made up for him by the press the charges are pretty lame.

The Dolphins had an ethics presentation just like all big companies do. Martin was there, he just chose not to do what they told ALL THE PLAYERS TO DO.

He signed the form. The wells report does not really go over Martin from an objective POV.

It is very transparent in that it treats him as a client and a victim from page #1.

There should be a page with all of Martin's transgressions as a Dolphin player. All the things he did wrong should be listed.

Rick Scott came out very clean too. Now he's the Governor of Florida. Of course he didn't know anything about his company while it defrauded Medicare out of billions. He was only the co-founder and CEO.

So yeah, its possible Philbin is squeaky clean too.

Hair Nest

A tangled mass of long pubic hair.

"That girl needs to shave her hair nest!"

There is one thing that completely disturbes me as public with the information that the public now has on this.

No one is really asking Martin to get treatment or showin anythink towards that. Just Martin is happy and ready to go to work!

Really now?

And people want to bash Philbin and Turner????

WTF is wrong with people when it comes to the obvious?

The man has serious issues. Does anyone think that his problem will be solved by playing for a different team?

And if it is, then this whole thing is nothing but a ruse!

LOL at the Hairs Nest comments......

Although I would agree, there are a lot of legs to this and more info to come. Also remember, the NFL's investigation was at the request of the Dolphins. I think that is and will continue to be an important part of this.

Not necessarily, he went off the deep end because someone was trying to make him go off the deep end....if he is on a team that treats him like a teammate and supports him instead of tears him apart and beats him down, he might turn out to be a good tackle in this league......so I don't agree that it should already be decided that he is a failure and always will be fa failure.....time will tell....but he does need to continue his treatment even if he feels he ok imo

So you dont think that all the other locker rooms dont do same kinds of things. Martin threw his teammates under the bus! Do you think any prospective teammates are going yo give him a break. When he's already pulled a bunch of bull ____! What goes on in a locker room should stay in the locker room and he broke a code many might not forgive!

Martin is the consummate victim. He admitted as much by saying that he has been bullied most of his life. Richie is a bully and just did what bullies do. I don't see much hope for Martin in the NFL but that is just me.

I read every word. He is treated like a victim because, what is transparent- he was a victim. I don't mean to rub you the wrong way but if your going to send others to elementary school, make sure you're not a classmate. Your keen reading comprehension must have missed the fact that Incognito admits to most all of the things he's been accused of (minus the a$$ grabbing incident) including the physical horseplay at Pouncey's party. You must have skipped over the text messages providing evidence that clearly substantiate's Martin's case.

Incognito's defense is basic. Martin is a very good friend. This is how they fooled around. This is how locker rooms fool around. It was never intended to hurt Martin.

By Martin's transgressions, do you mean the pot smoking? Let me ask you something TC, after this Wells report, would it not make sense for the league to IMMEDIATELY drug-test these guys? Maybe they have and we havent been told. NFL goes a long way to keep that hush hush. As of this moment, the answer is no. Why? Im not sure. What I do know is that I have heard many interviews with current NFL players on the Le Batard show and EVERY one of them have proclaimed that the percentage of players smoking weed in the NFL is high ( pun intended).

You are correct that the tone is "Here's the evidence we've gathered. Poor, poor martin" instead of just "Here's the evidence we've gathered."
