Only a year ago we were talking about jason taylor, the dolphin. Now new year, same person. The difference is Jason Taylor wanting to be a dolphin. As a proud supporter of number 99, I believe that he wants to come back. From the sound of his voice, he is homesick. This is where he lives, and his past is. It may have taken a year to realize that its not all about him but, i believe that it isn't. You can hear a change in his voice. The way he answers questions on himself playing for either the patriots or dolphins. He pulls a cam cameron and beats around the bush, without bluntly saying he wants to play for miami. Why not, Miami is the east champions. They have a quarterback. They have an offensive line. They are now everything he didn't have while a member of this organization. But, who can blame him for how he acted? year after year, hit and miss free agent acquisations. Failed drafts! Horrible coaches! Jason Taylor had every right to want out of miami. I would of wanted out of miami! Now, he wants to finish his career back at home. So, Miami the ball is in your court. Its up to you to move it up court and drive to the hole dwayne wade style, and slam j.t. home!

I don't agree with your reasoning but if he comes at a bargain price and has his tail between his legs..., then I'm all for it..., if his tail is up he is still the Diva... he is not and has never been a team player like ZT..., but if you want production and not chemistry and you feel your current chemistry is not fragile..., then I'm OK with it...

this is exactly how I feel. A player of his calibre would of course want to win. The guy wanted to win, he gave it his all during his time with the dolphins. Of course he would want out. I completely understand why he threw the hizzy fit after the 2007 season. I would be willing to forgive if the guy wants to truly come back here and put time, effort and more importantly, produce.

I think if he truly wants to return to Miami he should start his campaign off with a formal appology to the fans, for acting like an *** on his way out the door. I think if he did that he might be recieved a little better and some of his critics might begin to soften their negative oppinions of his behavior. I'm sorry can go a long way

He doesn't owe you anything. Just like we dont owe him anything.

He played hard and great for us, and we paid the season tickets or paid for the Memorabilia while he was a fin.

If anything, its between him(his agent), the coaches and the players, Not US!
I really dont mean to be rude about this, but just because we are emotionally attached to the fins doesnt mean we need to take everythign personally.

on his way out the door? he was traded. he was frustrated with once again starting over with a new regime. hell, after 1 year with scam cameron i would want to leave also. he is homesick and wants to come home. let it happen.

I personally don't care if he has his "tail between his legs," or if he acts sorry and humble enough or whatever. My only prerequisites for him would be a reasonable cap-friendly salary (much less than before ) for a short term (preferably 1 year) and he would have to take part in every off-season and (involuntary)voluntary workout as the rest of the team.

In that case, we did what the Eagles did to us with AJ Feeley- rent out a player for a 2nd round pick, and eventually get him back for less than you were paying him! That's a win-win.

It's just business- what does this player bring to the table and what does he cost us. If the answers fit, I'd take him.

The guy left town because he didn't want to suffer through a rebuilding process. He wanted his chance at a title. Fact of the matter is that we are still rebuilding, the only difference is that we actually won last year. We played hard last year. We had players that gave 110% the whole game and didn't turn against coach's in the lockerroom last year. I loved JT on this football team, he's was a great DE, I just dont know if I would really want him back.

1st he has already put it out there that its either the Fins or Pats. So now its like either we face him or take him. I just wish he would have tried to work through the hardships of a 1 win season, say this is his team and he wouldn't want to play anywhere else. But he didn't he headed out of town, I dont know if I would want him back.

How odd would JT look in a NE Uniform!? And how devastating would it be for him to sack our QB?! Bring the man back...he's one of, if not the only player who has Tom Brady's number. Just having JT puts a mental strain on Brady. Think about how happy he was when JT left.

This is a Win-Win in my book. Brings in solid depth. Wont be very pricey. He helps out Cameron Wake and our other pass rushers (which we will get in the draft). Plus we got a 2nd and 7th for him! 120 career sacks is not a joke!

The guy was a class act for EVERY single year he was with the team. How come no one ever complained about him not being at voluntary practices until Parcells decided to show up? It's not the first time he did that, but b/c Parcells said it then BOOM everyone hates him!

I don't see any downside to have him back. I'd love to know what the downside is if you do you?
