Alot of blame has been handed out, but I thought I would like to address a few plays in detail, instead of the usual (x) sucks or (y) played great.

First offensive play for the Colts. Clark TD 80 yards.

Miami: is in its base 3-4.
Ind: is in single back 2 TE.

The Good: Starks makes a great move on the LG to get in Mannings face, which also makes Porter's rush look better then it is since Manning can't step up. Not many Qb's have the poise to make this throw.

The bad: Alot of teams play nickle against IC's single back sets since it gives you the extra DB and shows Manning a better rush option then pass. Staying in your base with your safety deep tells Peyton he has Clark on Ayodele, this is a mismatch. This is not Akin's fault, just a good matchup and terrible tackling by Wilson. The only way to have stopped this play would have been if Porter bumped Clark on his way out or if Ayodele didn't have any gap responsibilities so he could have played the TE hard.

Crowder missed tackle on Clark for 50 yards.

The Good: Don't get me wrong, Channing is terrible. There was a run in this game right at his gap that anyone else would have made for no gain, but instead went for over 10 yards. Was almost as hard to watch as Jake getting run over last week. On this play though, he actually ran pretty well with Clark, and again only a perfect pass made this a completion. The blame should be on the pass rush, not CC for once.

Jake Long played better vs. Freeney.

The first play of the game(Miami offence) Jake got bull rushed on his ***, just like Abraham did only they didn't focus on it because C.P. thew it on his drop. The second play of the game Freeney did his spin move right past Jake and again he was on his ***. Horrible. After that a combination of pounding the run and giving J.Long help from either a TE, RB, or shifting the line so Smiley could take the inside. He was left 1v1 with freeney late in the game but it is unclear if fatigue, or ability is what allowed big Jake to hold his own. In the end this is just a question mark going into week 3.
