Undrafted free agent Torry McTyer looking for Dolphins break

After every practice at Dolphins training camp, Torry McTyer walks off the field toting at least one extra set of shoulder pads. On Sunday, he carried Tony Lippett’s.

On Saturday, both arms were full with Xavien Howard’s and Bobby McCain’s.

“Rookie duty,” McTyer said, grinning wide.

The 5-foot-11, 184-pound cornerback from UNLV, one of 14 undrafted college free agents signed in May, doesn’t have any illusions about his place on the Dolphins.

Well step one as a UDFA is get noticed on D which he has done. Second job for him is show value on special teams. But he's got a shot at the slot. Maxwell/Howard/Tank/Lippett ain't playing inside
