Sorry for the ignorance, but if we win the east title move on to play the second seed widcard? If we win that, who do we play in rd 2?

We'd be the 3rd seed if we win the AFCE title, and if we win in the wildcard, we'd play the #2 seed. Right now it looks like that will be the Steelers.

The Titans have to beat the Steelers this weekend for this to hold true. I don't see that happening, as beat up as they are right now. It's more likely the Titans end up with the #2 seed.

Just for fun here...
We'd most likely be playing the Patriots in Round one as I see the Patriots winning out and the Ravens losing to the Cowboys.. Wow, who wouldve thought the Ravens dont make it to the playoffs...
So after whooping the Pats at home, we'd go to Nashville and beat the cooled-down Titans. They are very beatable. They are actually very similar to us. And if Haynesworth is out, or plays at 50% with his MCL sprain, which is a huge injury for a guy of his weight, we definitely have a chance... From there, its most likely the Steelers for the AFC championship game and thats where I pray, pray, pray LOL these next few weeks are gonna make up for the crap we've watched the last few years

As hot as the Colts are, it would not surprise me one bit to see them in the AFC Championship. That means the winner of the other divisional matchup stands a good chance of HOSTING the AFC Championship. This of course assumes the #6 seed does not win the Wildcard matchup.

There are too many variables right now to answer that. In the NFL playoffs, the teams are not in a set bracket. The #1 seed always plays the worst remaining team in the playoffs for their first game.

So ... the outcome of the widlcard round determines who will be playing who.

I know we're looking way ahead but in the past, looking ahead meant april and who are we taking with our 1st round pick...is nice to be able to talk about maybe making the playoffs.

Ozzy rules!!

yeah we'd be the 3 seed, so regardless if we made it to round 2, we'd play the 2 seed... which will be the loser of the game between Tenn and Pitt on sunday...

I'd feel better playing TENN than playing PITT but right now I just hope we beat KCV and the jest

Ozzy rules!!
