I would personally, we have a vet in McCown, lets look to the future in Beck or Henne. Garcia wouldn't bring us a superbowl, all he would do is maybe give us an extra win or two but impeed the progress of Beck and Henne.
I'd answer in the affirmative IF we were a potential play-off team, but we're not. I like Garcia but he's been less than stellar with crap teams like Cleveland and Detroit. As a scrambling QB, I don't see him as a mentor/role model for Beck and Henne either. Most importantly, our getting a little more competitive is not worth the price of postponing the development of one or both of our future QBs.

We already have a veteran in McCown, and the future lies with either Beck or Henne. Garcia offers the Dolphins nothing at this point and time.

id rather have another season like last year than have jeff garcia here. the only way im down for that is if his wife stays on the sideline completely naked and thats if hes still with that playboy model.

I agree... Garcia is better suited for the "West Coast" style of offense. Unless the Dolphins adopt this type of offense he would not be a good fit...

I don't think any QB should or will be added to this roster for this upcoming season. I am actually very excited/intrigued with the three guys we have. Beck or Henne is likely the long term QB for this team, and McCown is a nice veteran to have if both of those two are not ready to take command of this team. I feel more comfortable with QBs we have then last season.

The argument is over incentives Garcia lost when Gruden sat him at the last of the season. That will be worked out and Garcia will play for TB which will end any discussion about him.

Isn't Garcia a little old for the Dolphin's current youth movement. By the way if that just for show comment is a reference to TO's accusations about Garcia's less than hetero habits, than congrats, very funny.
