Unheralded Ferguson the centerpiece of emerging Dolphins ‘D’

Fergie has been tremendous, and I am sure Cowboy fans are still wondering why they got rid of him for only a 6th rounder.

LOL we got 3 starters from the Cowboys (Fasano, Ayodele and Ferguson) for a 4th and a 6th . . . . LOL.

That's a great point!

Parcells and company are already proving to be experts at getting value via trade, free agency, and the draft.

Ferguson is just one of many shining examples.

If he can stay healthy we should be in great shape! But so far so good!

The question I have is, was there some inner turmoil in Dallas between Jerry and Bill about who was playing and who wasn't? We all know Jerry thinks he can evaluate talent and likes to stick his nose in the coach's business. So maybe he lets these guys go for nothing? Just a thought.

He has been downright Fergalicious.

Man I hope our D gets back to the dominance it was a couple of years ago.

Anthony Fasano, Jason Ferguson, and Akin Ayodele, were the Dolphins biggest steals of the draft. Anthony Fasano looks like he could be the long term answer at TE, Jason Ferguson is a very nice stop gap for 2 or so years, and Akin Ayodele looks like he could be a solid starter for a few more years, I believe he is 28 years old.

I've noticed ferguson just eating up 1-2 linemen each play. It's such a necessity to have and I was glad we got him from the beginning.

I completely agree with the wonderful editorial that Hugo Guzman has contributed. Last season we were missing a couple of key defenders, and I believe that Ferguson is one of those players.

One would say that our run defense was horrendous; furthermore, the real reason behind this believe is that our interior defense was poor. Many people around the league believe he plays like a top pro bowl tackle in spite of never acquiring such status, but I believe he plays just like any other top tackle when he is healthy. The Miami Dolphins will have an entertaining trio with the additions of Jason, Langford, and Merling.

1- When Ferg went down the boys picked up Tank.

2- Age/freak injury.

3- Removal of all things Parcells by an arrogant Dallas GM in his own mind.
