What 1972 Dolphin players' uniform numbers have been unofficially retired, as in #12 and #39 and officially retired (or will be), but what other #'s have never been worn since their owner retired or left the Fins?

From the '72 team? None. The 12 and the 39 are the only numbers never to be issued again since their only owners of those jerseys retired. 13 is the only other number retired/soon to be.

you are probably right since I have not had time to actually determine the answers but was thinking about 1 Garo and 42 Warfield and 66 Little and 62 Langer and 67 Keuch and 85 Buoniconti and I guess we have had players wear their numbers. I cannot remember a 62 though ?

Remember the bum FG kicker from New England named Tony Franklin? He wore #1 in '88.

Terry Kirby, Lyle Blackwood, and a few others wore #42.

Everett McIver wore #66 among a couple others.

Harry Galbreath wore #62, as well as Chris Gray.

A few have worn #67, Barry Stokes the latest.

A few wore #85 also, including Mark Duper, and a DE in '66 named John Holmes.
