For those who didn't see it in the original Zach Vigil thread, I'm from Northern Utah and have worked with Zach's uncle for over a decade and we're pretty close friends. Zach is now back in town until training camp and his uncle went golfing with him the other day. Zach passed along these tidbits:

- He was nervous to meet Suh with all that he's heard about the guy but he says that you won't meet a nicer guy. He says Suh is a great teammate and is gelling well with his teammates. Players on both sides of the ball seem to love him.

- Zach got a chance to get some 1st team reps and he said playing behind Suh is INSANE! He's never seen lanes open up for LB's like this in his life. He said without fail, he was able to fill his lanes without being touched by any O lineman.

- Zach says he has nothing to compare it to NFL wise, but he can't imagine a team with a better D-Line in the league. I guess the D-Line has rallied around Suh and Wake and to a man, their attitude and talent is downright scary. He said the comradery amongst the Defense (especially the D-Line) is infectious and he cannot wait to see this when it's actually game time.

Thats pretty much it right now, but as I hear more, I'll pass it along.

Wow man! Thanks for the news! It's awesome hearing how they actually feel as opposed to the stuff you want to hear with reporters in their face

Thanks for the update Aqua Man! That is all great stuff.

This defense (minus MLB) will be something fierce...

You couldn't ask for two better leaders on a unit than Suh and Wake. Those guys are going to have a huge impact on kids like Vigil. Nice post

This is too good to be true...it's a trap. This is a trap. (courtesy of Sonic lol).

Good news! I hope the kid can stick on the roster, I like his style of play!

You beat me to it! Haha

Great news Aqua Man! I'm glad to see this team making some progress, I hope it translates to the field. Thanks for the tidbits.

Thanks. That is good to hear. The media here hasn't said squat about Shelby, Misi, W Davis, etc... I doubt they will keep us up to date on ZV.

Awesome update! Even better is that your avatar is Aquaman....
