Patrick Cobbs RB North Texas
Joshua Tinch TE Louisville

L. McDonald OG Baylor
Rudy Niswanger OG LSU

Michael Brown DE Howard
Devarick Scandrett DE Middle Tenn. St. (we are known to be pursuing this guy)
Albert Mielsch DT Kentucky
Gerald Anderson DT Georgia (reported to have retired)
Chad Anderson LB Kentucky (thought about entering supplemental draft last year, but took a year to prepare for draft)
William Freeman LB Furman reported to have been invited to Redskins camp
Anthony Gargiulo LB Dartmouth may be invited to jets or giants camp
Justin London LB UCLA
Shomari Earls LB Florida Atlantic
Will Derting LB Washington St. (rumored to be retiring due to knees)
Archie McDonald LB Texas A&M
Paul Walkenhorst LB BYU
Jeremiah Milan LB Nevada may be injured and have another year of eligibility
Justin Parrish LB Kent St.
Eric Bassey CB Oklahoma
Reuben Houston CB Georgia Tech (character issues)
Muhammed Abdullah S Kentucky
Herschel Henderson S/CB Northwestern
Sam Paulescu P Oregon St.

These players have been mentioned in pre-draft publications, or have some connection to Saban's past (SEC foes, recruits, etc)

If you know anything about any of these players please let us all know.

Any relation to the Holt currently playing with the Rams?
Not sure?

I wouldn't mind giving Reuben Houston a look. I know he's had his troubles with the law, but he's a hell of a CB.

I occassionally can find faster information through message boards and ...

www.draftdaddy.com is a good site to check up on undrafted free agents, and other good football info.
Media in the area of the college.

How about Bassey from Oklahoma... Has to have some kind of talent to play at that program.

Not according to nfldraftscout.com. His cousin Reginald Holt was with the Packers for a while after playing at Wisconsin. His father Glen Holt Sr, played WR for LSU and Western Kentucky and another cousin, Alan Holt played at Minnesota. (Univ not Viks)

BTW, Glen Holt was born in Miami, FWIW.

Sam Paulescu P Oregon St was first team All Pac 10 in 2005. He had 148 punts while at OSU over 2 seasons and only 50 were returned while 48 were downed inside the 20. He had a 42.69 gross and a 38.71 net average over that time. This kid should definitely be in someone's camp. His touch to toe time averaged 1.21 seconds, he gets great turnover on his punts and averaged a 4.49 second hang time. In Junior College he was also a good place kicker.

Russ Lande. www.gmjr.com rated Derrick Ross RB Tarleton St. (Texas)
as the 4th best RB in the entire draft behind only Bush, White and Maroney.

Andy Fantuz WR out of UWO, invited to camp by the Lions who have enough WRs already has potential to be an absolute star. If he doesn't get signed, he would be an awesome pick up. Think Hagan, but taller(6'4 1/2'.
