Sorry to mak ea new thread but I wanted to let people konw that on ESPn they just said that Miami is not out of the woods with signing TO althought Denver is a step ahead and how they said TO next to CHris Chambers there is going to be really good things happening to a 9 and 7 team. Just thought I'd let ya'll know.

They said James is wanting to leave and play elsewhere as he is not priority R Wayne is and that

If Miami doesn't get TO, it isn't because they weren't able to convince him, it will be because Saban doesn't want him.

I am not 100% sold on getting TO, but I am also not 100% against it. Guess we will all just have to wait until March to see what happens.

Or because TO is offerd more money somewhere else or because TO wants to play somewhere else.

i cant wait till offseason Nubs:dolphins:

My opinion....Saban brought Ricky back and pretty much everybody was sceptical...and now everybody loves Ricky. Ricky quit on his team at the worst possible moment...when nobody had a clue that it was going to happen, and yet everybody gave him a chance and look how it turned out.

If Saban believes T.O. can be a team player (and realistically...Saban is the only person he has to sell) then why not give the man a chance?

I had read or heard that T.O. during his college days was a team player and really didn't say much. Once he had gotten into the pro's...he started believing everything...everybody (including his "insert phrase here" agent) and you can only downhill from there. Maybe what the Eagles did shed some light into that brain housing group and he finally realized its not all about him.

You remember when he tried to make his public announcement on how sorry he was, and how Drew R. basically was making a fool of himself (while T.O. was laughing at him in the background). Hopefully he has realized that its not about him, and hopefully he will become a team player...and if so...hopefully he will be a Dolphin.

Yes...I can't spell...but you get the point...lol

I concur, my opinion has swung from vehemently against TO , to just trusting Saban if he brings him in. Even with Gus, our offense would be unstoppable if we can get an upgrade of one dominant offensive lineman.

Biggest benefit? Imagine defenses having to double team TO, leaving Chris to single man-on-man coverage. forcing a LB to cover McMike, and most importantly, no more 8 men in box to play vs Ronnie and Ricky!!

But again, I'm convinced Denver gets TO, not us.

Thats how I feel, I'm not sure whether I want him or not. Its tempting.

agreed 100%

re:

I like TO. I like his personality and I love his talent. If he doesn't do what he did in PHI, I completely and unequivocally want him here. The aforementioned scenario of having single coverage on CC, a LB on McMike, and fewer DL to run stop, WOW is all that comes to mind.

You love his personality? Dear God in heaven, you need to meet some more people.

Does anybody else think that TO on the Broncos makes them the Superbowl favorite in the AFC?

I think that idea would sell. It would be hard to imagine a team that would match up with them, assuming Rod Smith is still playing because Lelie has done NOTHING yet.
