UPDATE: SAD NEWS. This is for my uncle the Gov. RIP

Hello everyone,

Kayla here again.

This is very hard to write but I know he would want you all to know.

My mom(His sister)went and visited him this morning and found him to be non responsive.Called 911 to rush him to the hospital.Everything was done to try to revive him but unfortunately he could not be revived. We are not 100 percent certain, but we think it was an intentional OD of pain medicine.

We are beyond devastated. My Uncle was one of the best people I knew.Served his country, volunteered to help the needy, always tried to brighten everyone's mood, and so much more.

He will be missed.

Thank you for the kind comments.I told my Uncle about them the last time I talked to him and I could tell the joy they brought him.

Going to go be with my family now.

As my Uncle Ryan always said to me 'Do your best every day,and try to bring joy.The world always needs more of that'.

Thank you,

Kayla

Thank you Kayla I know it is a sad, hard experience to go thro and also write those words.
The more he posted and now you adding extra only adds to the fact he came over as a fine person abet with a awful condition.
I just wish you can look back with fondness of the memories of Ryan at his best Kayla.

So from one of the Finheaven faithful one last "Harrumph" to The Gov Ryan

I am so sorry to hear that Kayla. You uncle was one of the good ones and we sincerely enjoyed his company and posts here on FinHeaven. He earned some well deserved accolades in our Lounge throughout his time here. As sad as I am to see that he moved on to his next phase, I am consoled that he no longer suffers.

He will be missed…

This is horrible news. Kayla, we are so very sorry for yours and your family's loss. The Gov was a good friend to many of us. I talked to him many times and enjoyed all of the interactions his love for the Dolphins and the fellow members on here shined through in all of his posts. On opening day, we will all be raising a toast to your uncle.

Horrible news but thank you Kayla for letting us know.

"There but for the grace of God go I".

FH lost a little piece of itself. Rest In Peace Gov Ryan. It's obvious from your niece that you may be gone but your loving spirit will long live on!

I am very saddened to now just hear of all of this news. I appreciate you letting us know Kayla as that must not have been easy. I had many great conversations with Ryan and know the world has lost a good one. My thoughts are with you Kayla and your family.
