I think 8-8 is very attainable. People are downplaying how good this offense will be. If we score 20 in Seattle that should tell you

Let's see what happens. I worry about DVP's health, TE contributions and the running game.

The most encouraging prediction I've seen so far is 7-9 from Cian Fahey of Pre Snap Reads. The difference? He has Buffalo and the Jets at 6-10 :) :D

Local projections don't count, of course. There are threads here that break my heart, so innocent they are.

Saw an interesting twist on predictions last year but unsure if it was here. A Dolphins beat writer checked beat writers for the other teams Miami would play and got THEIR take on whether they thought their team would win/lose against Miami. Different perspective. - neither orange or aqua. Would be interesting to see the predictions by Miami's opponents THIS year.

I don't see how we get to 8 wins? Well I guess it depends on how you think we will do inside our division. We would have to split all those games, probably better than that to even have a chance at 8 wins. Do you see that this year?

That sounds interesting, although they might be slanted the other way. It's hard to find objective writers that are also knowledgeable enough to trust.

Last season our team finished 6-10 after many people thought that we finally had enough talent to make a push. Most of us agreed that the biggest hurdle the team faced in 2015 was coaching.

I expect 6-8 wins, but I also believe that if we finally made the right coaching hire, we could have a winning season.

Agreed. For all the dumping on this team, it is possible to make an argument there is talent equal to last year. The overriding factors this year, IMO, are coaching and injuries. It is those two reasons I have such a wide variance in win totals - 5 to 9.

I think this team has 10-11 win potential if the defense plays well, which very much hinges on a little injury luck and Xavien Howard being better than I think he is. I guess it's good that we have lowered expectations, but we have people who say "there is a chance this is a 10 win team if a couple of things break our way" being labeled as lunatics and I just don't see that, either.
