Here's a new list of first round targets for Miami (in no order).
O.J. Howard TE Alabama
Howard made my first list of targets and I believe he's in serious contention if he makes it to #22. It's exciting to think what he would add to Miami's offense, but with so many needs on defense he seems more like a long-shot.
Dan Feeney OG Indiana
I know fans would hate to see a guard in round 1, but Feeney is exactly what this offense needs...a physical player who can match-up with the talented defensive tackles in the division. This may be a higher probability than we think, especially if Brandon Albert is cut.
Taco Charlton DE Michigan
Seems like a perfect fit for Miami at a position of need.
Derek Barnett DE Tennessee
Ultra productive with a decent chance to get to #22. A little overrated?
Jabrill Peppers S/LB Michigan
One of the more interesting prospects in the draft. Could be someone who helps match-up with the speed of New England.
Cam Robinson OT Alabama
Between Robinson and Feeney, I like Feeney better but Robinson could be in play.
Soloman Thomas DE Stanford
I think he'll be gone before #22. One of my favorites of the defensive ends.
David Njoku TE Miami
Very athletic tight end who could go near the end of round 1.
Haason Reddick LB Temple
A defensive end at Temple, Reddick has set the scouting community on fire with his Senior Bowl performance.
Tim Williams OLB Alabama
Miami needs pass rushers and Williams can fill that role. Probably just a situational pass rusher early on.
Montravius Adams DT Auburn
This guy just dominates. Miami probably won't look defensive tackle in round 1, but Adams next to Suh would be very difficult for opposing offenses.
Zack Cunningham LB Vanderbilt
Depending on what happens in free agency, linebacker is Miami's #1 need. Cunningham would seem to be high on the Dolphins list.
Jarrad Davis ILB Florida
I feel like he's a bit underrated, but love his physical style of play.
T.J. Watt OLB Wisconsin
Think of him more as a 2nd rounder, but could end up in round 1. Size, speed and work ethic are all positives.
