Round 1:
Miami Dolphins: Rolando McClain, ILB, Alabama
I've seen a receiver mocked to the Dolphins, but I just can't imagine Bill Parcells spending a No. 1 pick on a wideout. It could happen, but except for one occasion (Terry Glenn, 1996), Parcells has always waited on taking receivers.

Conversely, Parcells has spent a whopping six first-round selections on linebackers. And inside linebacker is a huge need for the Dolphins; Channing Crowder is banged up far too often, while Akin Ayodele needs to be upgraded.

It's safe to say that Miami would be thrilled if the Broncos eschew Rolando McClain in favor of Dez Bryant.

Round 2:
Miami Dolphins: Jeremy Williams, WR, Tulane
Ted Ginn Jr. screwed me out of $1,100 in a span of two weeks, but it's good to know that the Dolphins seem to give up on him as a receiver every other week. Miami needs a true No. 1 wideout, and the drop-happy Arrelious Benn offers too much value at this juncture.

Round 3:
Miami Dolphins: Torell Troup, NT, Central Florida
Jason Ferguson is a 34-year-old player with an expiring contract in March who just went on IR. Paul Soliai is a serviceable backup, but he's not a legitimate starter in this league. Help is needed at nose tackle.

That's how I see the first pick, only because Denver is getting rid of BM and they also need DE help. I don't see us taking a WR unless one that has a 1st round grade drops. I would think we go OLB in the second, but if T.Mays FS is there he would be an interesting consideration.

OK with pick 1, not with pick 2. A slower possession receiver is not what we need. Get another LB here.

Pick #2: Correct position, Wrong pick. See RealDriscoll = Marshawn Gilyard.

Using the WALTERFOOTBALL MOCK model.... I would take

#12 YIPPEE CHI YEAAA MFer- ILB ROLANDO McCLAIN
#44 BRANDO SPIKES falls into deep 2nd round
Just like the VONTAE and SMITH Pairing LASTYEAR, this will be HUUUGE for our defense

#73 TOBY GERHART RB or ANTHONY McCOY TE

Ok, I'll try it too.

1. McClain

2. Mays SS USC n- If he couldn't cut it at SS, I'd put 15 to 20 lb on him and make him a freakishly fast OLB/ pass rush specialist.

3. Kindle

So we need 3 SS-Bell, Wilson and Mays????? no.

If we don't land Bryant in rd 1 I'd probably be all over Benn in rd 2.

I just hope that the Broncos don't scoop up McClain....they have Dumervil, and I could see them adding McClain to bolster their D a little more.

I had wondered what the possibility of that was... I like it:up:
