â€â€The Dolphins were prepared to hold joint preseason practices with Tennessee before the Titans decided to cancel.

"They had asked us to come, and then as we worked together, they just let us know it wasn't going to work out," Dolphins coach Cam Cameron said.

Cameron said the Dolphins wouldn't practice with any other team during the preseason for the third consecutive year.

â€â€Cameron is impressed by the toughness of rookie center Samson Satele, who didn't miss any practice time at last week's minicamp despite undergoing extensive root canal surgery.

"He never flinched, never said a word," said Cameron, who has installed Satele as his starting center while shifting incumbent Rex Hadnot to guard. "I have never been around a guy yet that really practiced a whole practice with one root canal and he's had five. ... We're very pleased with his progress."

It would be great if Satale could start at C and allow Hadnot to play somewhere else.

Satele is going to be a stud center in the league for so many reasons:

1) He has the physical talent.
2) He has the motivation.
3) He is tough as nails.
4) He has the size.
5) He is nasty when he gets on the field.

I truely believe that he will be the steal of this draft. It sounds funny to say a center could be the steal of the draft.....but he could be.

Somebody inform Samson how to brush his teeth.

If he can turn into only 75% of what Dwight Stevenson was, he will be the steal of this draft. An anchor of the line for many years. I'm actually starting to get excitied about this season. :)

75% of Dwight Stephenson is ALMOST a pro Bowler every season. I'll take that.

Fact is; Pacific Islander linemen look good in some measureables and, are without a doubt, tough...... However...

Footspeed and agility are a real problem with most of them, though, as I understand it. I'm not a scout, or a GM, but, I figgure HI would have dang near every lineman in the NFL if size was the only thing that was an issue.

Usually, there is an issue of getting to the second level.
