USA Today | Marcus Vick

I hope this guy can pull it together. He has potential and hopefully could be a good player down the road.

Okay, I guess that's not a bad thing. I think that the best offer he will get though is a spot on the practice sqaud.

i agree i think the best thing for him is to learn from people like chambers and bookers and to be catching balls from culp. will help in long run

He better step up then.

The young man made a series of bad choices.

I was one of those in favor of bringing him in.

If he can't cut it, get his rear end out of here.

I think his talent has value, but, with Nick's draft...There just aren't
many roster sopts.

Let me say that if I had the opportunity to play football for a living
and a college scholorship, I'd hold it together until at least my rookie contract.

only time will tell to what he can develop into as a receiver QB role player...whoever ends up with him if the Dolphins decide to not keep him.

wow.....amazing.........stupendous........marcus can catch a ball that was thrown five feet into the ground in front of him? AWESOME

One thing I have noticed is that this whole story of Marcus coming to Miami has been kept relatively quiet. A week or so after he was a free-agent signee, yeah, there was some talk. But the spotlight has been kept mainly on Culpepper, which I think is good for a guy like Marcus. There is no fueling the fire here.

I honestly think that with being Mikey's little brother and being the BIG MAN on campus (starting QB), Marcus did not know how to handle the situation. I personally think he is kind of a prick, but I do not know the guy personally. I only know what I have seen and heard in the media, which has been more than I really want to know about the guy. I believe in second chances, but he has had that and more at VT. He is very, very, lucky. Most people, especially regular guys like myself, do not get a second chance. Like this one time, I met a hot girl in a bar, and I ended up having a great time with her. But unfortunately, I puked all over her when I went in for the kiss at the end of the night. Needless to say, I did not get a second chance. It's not like I stepped on her leg with cleats! (A little comic relief for you guys) :D

If he doesn't watch his Ps & Qs he'll be kicking horse turds down that very same road.

hey, why can't vick try out at running back? anyone have a clue? i mean we've got some depth at receiver basically, so why not.

as a proud miami hurricanes fan i hated marcus vick and relished every last idiotic mistake he made to get himself booted from virginia tech. but as a proud dolphins fan i hope he can become a productive (and law-abiding) member of this team. with that said i doubt hes going to break the practice squad this season and will probably be flipping burgers in a year.

Anyone else thought about how Michael was probably a kid too back then ? I guess we should all get excited that Marcus could catch footballs from a kid, when he was a kid ??????

Can anyone tell me how Marcus Vick got into Virginia Tech; he doesn't seem to bright from his interviews.
