usatoday rankings

Almost all the sports pundits have us ranked in the bottom half of the league thanks to the Ted Ginn selection, which is really unfair. I don't think we're a top flight team by any stretch, but come on now. You're putting us in Detroit Lions company.

Call me a homer if you wish and accuse me of disliking this atrocious list because my Phins are ranked 28th, but until proven otherwise, the two best teams in the league are 1) Indianapolis and 2) Chicago. Only then can the world commence licking Patriot testicles.

Edit: And I'd still put San Diego and Baltimore ahead of them.

there are holes here and i think the dolphins will do better than this, but then again we have proven nothing in quite some time now with many optimistic off seasons. We deserve based on history to be at the bottom, but as long as we are on top at the end of the season who cares right?

Good post.

The Phins have gone 18-30 over the last three years, they have had a 5 year playoff drought, they have concerns at QB, OL and DB, and they have yet another offensive coach/coordinator/system.

While I feel we may surprise some people, it's hard to see how we would be ranked much higher to start the season.

GO PHINS~!

lets not forget that are wr corp was god awfull last year an we did loose our hardest working player in randy mcmichael .:boohoo::fire:

Let all the people talk smack about the Phins...I'd rather have the Phins ranked low and then they can surprise everyone. The Phins will have the last laugh...
I think we will surptise everyone and go .500 but we won't make the playoffs. We aren't that bad and I expect our offense to be lights out eventually, led by Ronnie Brown.

I dont have that much of an issue with us being 28th, although I think we should be in the top 20.
I do have SERIOUS issue with the Patsies being Number 1...as stated, wonder how it feels to constantly have all these writers on your teats all the dang time.

Funny thing to me is that if we selected Brady Quinn (who wouldn't have contributed this year), we probably would be in the top 25 . . . but because we selected a guy who would have an immediate on our field position and give us a homerun threat on offense . . . . but wasn't a popular in the draft, we get a worse rating.

This is why u can't place much faith into what a columnist writes . . . us finfans know what this team is capable of doing if we get it all together, the talent is definitely here.
