It seems like everybody, including me, wants their to be seperate positions for coach and general manager both with power. Yet if it comes down to a situarion were a high caliber coach will only come here if we give him full power, I think we should do it. I think a really good coach with full power is better then a bad coach and a GM.

Not entirely. If we have a good GM and a bad coach at least we will draft well while we're losing. We could stock pile talent for the next coach. However if the coach is bad and can't draft either (we know what that's like) then we are not only hurting the present but we're hurting the future as well.

well it would only make sense to do this if we know the coach can draft and make personal decisions at least decently. There are coachs out there that could do so.

No. We shouldn't do it. There will be atleast one coach Wayne H. interviews that will not want full power and that's the one we should go with. Mike Holmgren and Dennis Green are two coaches who found out that it doesn't work long term. Either be a coach or a GM but not both.
