Proud of him, and happy for the Bulls as the young program continues its fast ascent in the college football world.
Back story. Asiantii Woulard attends high school at local Winter Park. This last season 2011 was the first year he's played quarterback at the high school level. His tape has been slowly circulating, drawing more and more attention. Some are a little slower on the uptake than others. Rivals still only has him as a three star recruit. 247 and Scouts have him as a four star recruit. He originally committed to USF but then realized that he wasn't ready to commit yet. He rescinded so that he could fully explore what was fast becoming available to him. In the end, he chose USF again. So he's pretty firm on that commitment.
He competed in the Elite 11 regional competitions and was selected by the Elite 11 coaches to compete with 24 other nationally recognized quarterbacks such as Christian Hackenberg, Max Browne, Johnny Stanton and Cooper Batemen.
He made the Elite 11 cut (they don't rank, they just decide which 11 quarterbacks of the 25 constitute the Elite 11) and he also won the MVP award as the top performer.
Here's his highlight reel. The first time I watched this I immediately tweeted out that he's going to be the best quarterback the South Florida Bulls ever had. Congratulations to Asiantii, and congratulations to the Bulls.

...and yes, he will ABSOLUTELY be a guy you look at in the NFL Draft down the road. He's 6'4" and 200+ lbs, a pretty serious young man with leadership characteristics. He has a good family and his father stands behind him and is proactive, but doesn't insert himself when it comes to Asiantii and his coaches. He has a rocket arm but even better is the simple fact that he has a smooth and easy natural stroke. Highly accurate, extremely coachable (the learning curve on this guy has been almost vertical), shows good feet in the pocket and under pressure, and he runs in the high 4.6's to low 4.7's, with zero track training. With a little training on form and how to run, he could get into the 4.5's pretty easily.
