Height 6′ 3″, Weight 238 lbs - KIKO

6 ft 1 in (1.85 m) 228lb - foster

Height: 6-4. Weight: 230 - Cunningham

These are the top two MLB in the draft moving kiko because he is " undersized" is completely false and would be a mistake, this kid was rookie of the year playing the mike. surround him with talent at Will And Sam.

Agree as far Kiko's stature goes... My dad who used to coach football said, "Its not the size of the dog; its the fight in the dog."

I believe a certain Zach Thomas was 5'11" 240 lbs

All things being equal, Kiko's skill set IMO is ideally that of 4-3 WLB.

Again, there's a big difference b/w listed weight and how that actually translates onto the field.

Alonso plays like a 215-220# LB on film.

It does vary depending on the breed.

I compare him to an ankle biting chihuahua running around enthusiastically, yet aimlessly, arriving late to jump on the pile which fluffs his tackle numbers or getting run over in what I refer to as YAK (Yards After Kiko).

Agreed he plays small but also I am somewhat surprised by his measurables. He would fit at weak side.

Listen guys, Kiko is a terrible ILB, period. I have seen this guy gets blocked like easily its unbelievable. No wonder hes been traded twice in three years.

I'd like to see us go to all tall, quick/fast, lean and rangy guys more in the Kiko mold at LB. The guy overran some plays because he was super-aggressive; so what—he was still our best LB.

Think Kam Chancellor at LB. Whatever his listed weight, Kiko probably plays at more around 220 than 238. Chancellor is 6'5", 225. Hell, we have a WHOLE BUNCH of big butts on that DL to keep blockers off the LBs. Use them.

That said, I wouldn't mind a bruiser/intimidator at MLB; say, Lawrence Timmons.

No, we have watched terrible ilb for the last 10 years.
Kiko before the hand injury was doing a steady job.
Not great but really terrible is not the word..
Also yes he can list at whatever he wants, if he weighs over 230 during the season im shocked

Except Kam Chancellor is able to play as Seattle's free defender in their 4-3 Under that mixes 1 and 2 gap techniques. He's allowed to flow w/ no primary assignment.

In our scheme, the front 7 and an additional secondary force defender each have a gap responsibility in the run game that cannot be abandoned.

Thats why all it takes is one person to flow the wrong way and we are out of position big time

Where did you get Kam Chancellor is 6'5"?

Don't tell me that you think we can't change a scheme that allowed 358yds/pg (30th overall)? And that was with VJ making adjustment every which way, trying his best.

I think Kiko's listed weight is from when he entered the league. I'm not sure what it is currently but since he went vegan a few years ago he seems smaller than he was as a rookie.

Makes no sense to compare Kiko to Zach based on weight. Kiko's 6'3 so even if he really is 230 that's pretty thin for a MLB. Zach was only 5'11 and 240 so he was way bigger and stronger.

Ozzy rules!!
