That the Dolphins and their players look incredible thus far in the pre-season. Pennington, Henne, Williams all tearing it up. Ted Ginn looking good thus far. Even the kicker Dan Carpenter making kicks and apparently showing all of us that Jay Feely was the guy, despite his excellent year last year, to release.

Does this mean that the Dolphins will challenge the Patriots 16-0 season?

Because i've lets face it, the Patriots look awful this pre-season. Tom Brady's injured, his passer rating is like 50, he hasn't thrown a touchdown, he hasn't looked nearly as good as his holiness Chad Henne. They're obviously not going to win the AFC East this year.

The Jets are our real concern over who will finish 16-0 this season with us. Favre through 6 passes and 1 was a touchdown! He looks as good if not better than Pennington. Not as good as Henne though.....With Tom Brady and the Patriots locked up for last place this season because of how they've looked in the pre-season, it will be interesting to see what the Dolphins can do especially with home field in the playoffs.
 
Whoooo....it's only preseason....it's only the first year of the rebuild....lets not get ahead of ourselves here. I'm looking for progress...not the Superbowl. As long as the Dolphins show some improvement each week from the teams of the last few seasons...that a great step forward...we should all be happy with that.
 
You obviously haven't seen Chad Henne play this pre-season! He's taking us to the Super Bowl! Tom Brady and the Patriots have been awful this pre-season, they are finished!
 
Without cheating the Pats will suck. Brady will be the loser that couldn't start at Mich and all those old POS's they sign every year will be slow and out of position. Their o-line which had 4 PB's last year will suck all year like in the SB when the subject of them recording Pitt's walk-through emerged and the Comnmish got to scared to protect them 1 more time. Funny how all the media is critisizing that line every game but fail to mention how cheating helped protect them.

They aren't playing Brady for a reason and are already making excuses for the upcoming season of truth.

Seriously though.. I think preseason is very important to gauge rookies and young players... Not so much for veterans.

Im not looking for sb tickets either. This is a great time to be a dolfan. With all our young players somebody can step up and be a superstar. Its wide open the potential is there we just need some guys to grab the brass ring.

Can I please have back the 30 seconds I spent reading this drivel?

Spacemountain, what is the purpose of TC and the pre-Season when it comes to judging new talent? Do you think we should just wing it and not evaluate talent? Tom Brady has a hand full of championship rings and the preseason means jack sh*t to him. Get over it. Beck lost the QB competition fair and square, regardless of what all the armchair analysts on both sides of the argument have to say.
