Well, what do you guys think? From what I saw, he played OK, but not great. Better than Wade Smith or McIntosh from last season, at least.

He actually got beat outside pretty badly on that sack on Feeley, but he recovered and did get back into his guy, and it wasn't his guy that got the sack. Other than that play, I didn't see him really get embarrassed or anything.

OTOH, McKinney looked like monkey-**** out there. I saw him completely whiff on a block on a DL, on a running play, and fall on his ***. What a pathetic piece of crap.
 
yea i agree he played much better today than last year... Lets hope he continues to improve..

and can we please cut Seth this guy is a waste

ohhhh, you just opend the door for me. I love to bash McKinney every chance I get :lol: . I know what play you are talking about. It was the first play of the second half, he totally whiffed on DT Aaron Boone. It was a horrible site. McKinney is straight up GARBAGE. :yell:
 
yeah i remember that seth play with boone and i think sammy morris got nailed for it... hes def not strong enouth to play center i think... and vernon did not look good, he was getting handled more than just that 1 play... on the running game too... i wasn't too happy with our oline

McKinney gets blown off the ball...a lot...its time to get rid of this bum...i know he is cheap to keep and that we need depth...but the new center we got from Philly is better than him...i think its time to cut our losses with him.
 
The line itself was subpar, but it will get better, I'm sure. Carey wasn't great, but he showed decent effort - and to be fair - he is essentially a rookie, so he has to go through a learnin curve. I saw enough in him to be optimistic.
 
Yeah, same impression on Carey. He did "ok", not great. Obviously there's room for improvement, but thankfully, there's lots of time, too.
