What is it at the moment?

I haven't seen much of the preseason games and haven't heard too much about what he has done in the preseason so far.

The key questions I want answered are how is his physique at the moment and from your opinion, has he progressed technique wise and is he an overall better player than last year?

what ive seen out of Carey has be great so far..hes playing with more passion and was the best o-lineman beside hadnot..in all of the preseason games, he did pretty well..im excited for him

Nice, is he showing any signs of a mean streak?

Actually, our best lineman this PS has been James. But right after he it's Carey then Hadnot. Carey still doesn't have the tenacity that Rex does but he's got a lot more god given talent.

Jeno James was getting absolutely crushed by Kris Jenkins against Carolina.

On the other hand, Vernon Carey held his own very nicely against Julius Peppers.

Kris Jenkins is also the best DT in the game when healthy.

Can he become a premier RT in the game within the next 2 years or does he have a ways to go?

Yeah, and Julius Peppers is a top 3 defensive end.
Oddly enough, he struggles against us. Last year I don't think he knocked down Freotte once in that game.

At the time last year Carey and McDougal were rotating so I'm not sure.
Carey is great, don't get me wrong. He just doesn't show the fire like Hadnot.

No one truly knows Vernon's status until this Thursday :refuse:
Watch Vernon this Thursday and your question will be answered. This is a he said, they said. We will know Thursday where he is at :dolphins:
I am really excited about what he will do and I'm hoping he truly surprises us all, My thought's... He will shine

Sorry I don't have a link to go with this, but read about a month or so back that Carey truly dedicated himself to staying in shape during the offseason. Both in terms of working out and eating healthy. This is the first time he has come to camp in shape. I definitely think he will make a huge leap relating to what he has done the past couple of years.
