Hargraves, and don't look back. CB talent is tougher to come by, and this is a deep enough LB draft there still should be a solid LB available when we pick in the second round.
 
Hargreaves has phenomenal recovery speed...he can lose inside at the los and even be stacked for a instance and then hes back in that wrs hip in a nanosecond...you better be careful testing that kid...hes got bait the qb closing speed in spades

Plays an awful lot of press or 10 yards off...
 
I really, really don't want to see Hargreaves in Miami. The kid has unbelievable talent and it would absolutely break my heart to see it wasted.
 
We need Jaylon Smith more...the linebackers on this team are atrocious and constantly miss tackles, get beat by TE's, and any other mishap you can think of. This guy looks like an athletic freak and pairing him with Jenkins gives us a young, athletic start there..then we have guys like McCain, Dion Jordan (assuming he is still alive next year), and guys like that to compete for the other side. While a CB is also a huge need, I think we can get one in the 2nd round or possibly free agency. Plus, we really don't have much luck with drafting CB's lately and I think its our coaches that don't know how to develop them. Getting a guy like Smith could be a tremendous boost to the run defense and possibly TE coverage.

Knowing us, we will will skip over both Smith and Hargraeves and draft someone on the o-line that doesn't pan out. Can't go wrong with either one here, but you know how this team works. We suck enough to have no chance at the playoffs and then string together 3 or 4 needless wins to JUST MISS getting in and then end up with a middle of the pack pick.
 
we need a leader in the middle. whether thats a cb early and pray scooby falls to the 2nd, or trade up for him

i agree i see us taking some olineman over a top notch mlb. makes me sick to my stomach
 
LBers are so much easier to find, despite how much we suck at it. especially in a draft full of decent options. shutdown corners are immeasurably harder to find. hargreaves or ramsey and it's not close.

i think he fits better on the outside in our defense anyhow

Yes sir, you are correct. Hargreaves or Ramsey would be spectacular. Trade back up for Smith if he falls a bit and he's the one we want. However, you don't skip elite talent especially at a position of need and there are two Florida school CBs that are elite and proven against top competition.

I don't know about his listed 5'11 @192. The dude looks rail then reminds me of Will Davis size wise.

That doesn't bother me much. Same build as Pat Surtain. Will Davis LOOKS like a corner. Just never played like one.

will davis is to vernon hargreaves as olive oil is to popeye.

hargreaves is even thicker than ramsey. not an issue
