Living up here in Bills country I was talking to a Bills fan yesterday, we were speaking about the offseason, he said he admired Miami for going after people that we thought could improve our team. Even after I told him that I didn't think we would realistically be able to sign Brees or even some of the other FA's out there.
He didn't care he just stated that Miami is working hard to get players on there team, and right now he doesn't see that attitude with Buffalo, or most other Franchises right now.
I thought about it for awhile, and yes, I have to agree, I am very impressed with how hard the Front Office, and coaching staff is working to improve this team, its shows a committment to excelllence that we haven't seen in a long time, it shows that we are an orgainzation that has class, and is determined to put a good product on the field. And this is only 3/4 days into Free Agency.
I also like that they are not afraid to bring in players at any position if they feel that it can improve the team, this includes Kicker, which I have stated in previous posts , Mare is overpaid, he's good but we can get someone else to do it at a more reasonable price.
Even more impressive to me after reading the article in the Herald, Miami seems to be prepared to possibly bring in a Cullpepper or a Brees , and if necessary sit him out for the entire year, and I can't tell you how much I think that shows that we are not building a team for a 1 year run, we are putting the building blocks in for a team that will be highly competitive for a long long time.
In 4 days this team has out worked most franchises, can't wait to see how we do in the draft, I have a feeling these guys are going to move around and increase the amount of picks we have, walk away with a stellar draft class.
Right now, we are the envy of the League!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am officially now a Saban/Mueller believer, and I think Huizenga doesn't get enough credit either they are doing everything they can to give us a team we can be proud of!
