Very smart moves by Tuna and company....

I don't get some people here....complaining about the moves we've made....I'll do my best to break it down.What was the biggest problem our defence had last year? We couldn't stop the run....that starts up front so what does the FO does? We got 2 big DT's that can play the nose and 3 LB's....all have played the 3-4 so our defence is already getting better and it was just the 1st day of free agency.
offence......we only had 1 starting WR(Ginn)and needed a guy that can move the chains....now we got Ernest Wilford...he's big with good hands....we only had 1 QB in the roster(the other 2 were camp fodder)and we got the best option left out there in Josh M.......Is he Drew Brees? No,but we need 3 QB's and he'll push Beck who I still think will be the starter......our o-line needs help so we got a good starting guard in Justin S.......We need a good blocking TE and we got 1.....I still see us drafting a good TE that can catch the football tho.....all in all we've added some very good players that will play a role on us getting better and all this in just 1 day....if we do get Pace our team is looking a whole lot better than last year and free agency just got started......I think we're still gonna get 3 or 4 more players and we still have the draft coming with some high picks to play with.

I'd say that Parcells,Ireland and Sparano are off to a great start.:up:

Some people just don't realize how bad this roster looked and these signings are gonna make for an interesting off-season of cuts and competition for playing time..., rather than pencil in JT and Zach every year....

JT and Porter one or both may be moved if we can sign Pace...

I agree Danny. What gives us the right to question Parcells? He successfully turned around four terrible organizations. There's an obvious reason I am not the VP of Football Operations of Dolphins and he is.

For most people its all just about who gets the big name guys. For the most part I agree that we have done a really good job in getting solid guys in here that can make a difference without having to break the bank to pay for a name. We payed for a name last year when we signed JP and he was no better than any cheaper middle class player that we could have signed.

I am just going to sit back and watch...for the last few years we have been giving away draft picks and spending money on big name FA and what do we have to show for it??? Not a damn thing..I think we are making the right moves now... just give it a chance!!!

I like that analogy, when used correctly a pawn can be as useful as the queen, you also need to have more pawns than other higher ranked pieces and it looks as though the F.O. know this (for a change).
