Very Talented Draft Class

I am intrigued by next years safety class. Seems to offer more than this years group.

I think that might be the forgotten position this year. Maybe we sneak in a late rounder if we acquire additional picks.

I’d rather take a punter or quarterback in the 7th round than a safety, even though it wouldn’t take much talent to replace McCain and Rowe.

This years class is really top end loaded on the offensive side of the ball. Almost lopsided IMO.

IMO 2022 will be a down year for top end talent and maybe depth as well. The advantage however, will be that teams should have a better evaluation process due to the foreseen reduction in COVID protocols.

Across the board, all 7 rounds, this draft seems to be loaded with talent. Is that just me or does it seem that way to y'all?
You are spot on. I only wish we had traded the 9ers for draft capital this year.

For the first time in a long time there are late round players I really want like the USC Safety Hufanga and the Madman Center Quinn Meinerz.

TE class pretty putrid beyond the top 2, OT is stacked til goddamn 4th imo, WR is loaded for first 3 rounds, nasty year for man schemes at corner and safety but otherwise this is a meh LB DL class in my opinion. I like Pass Rusher but honestly its only because there's no superstud (that'd only muddy the waters and prevent us from drafting Pitts the absolute superstud)

Texas A&M is absolutely loaded with NFL prospects. From what I've read so far about the 2022 draft, its loaded at CB, DL, OL. And apparently solid at LB. And it appears WR while not as good as in yrs past, is also solid.

Linebackers are lacking big time

Every class looks good until they get to the major league and they no longer get the opportunity to play against all those college players who never get a sniff of the NFL. I have no doubt that there will be some talented players in this years draft but in five years the majority of this draft class will be working in another job. Just like the majority of the players drafted 5 years ago are doing today.
