Why not? the better Question is why would the Titans trade up that high to take a player that will most likly be there with there pick? IMO that whole mock sucks.

ya thats not a very good mock draft, but i guess it could happen

I'm assuming the Titans jumped to 1st based on the assumption that Romeo is going to take a linebacker at #3, which is proven with him taking Merriman after DJ left.

Also, The 9'ers are pretty hot on Rolle. They've got him for a private workout.

Everything is possible.

they wouldn't give up the number one pick for just the number 6, a third this year, and a second and a fourth next year. No idiot would do that. They would need the titans first and second this year and like a first and a third next year.

49ers? The real idiots would be the Titans! No way they are going to do that for Derrick Johnson when he'd be there at #6! Even then, a lot of scouts would count him a reach.

In fact, some scouts don't think he belongs in the top half of the first round - but bottom half at best, b/c he has never yet proven he'll actually take on, let alone be ABLE to take on an O-lineman.

Your right about one thing....it is VERY ambitious

There's almost no logic to well over half of those picks....

It would cost more then that to move up to the #1, and then why wouldnt the 49ers pick Alex Smith at #6? There working on contract wit Braylon,Rodgers and Smith now, so id Smith was avaiable dont u think theyd pick him?

Yeah, this mock makes no sense at all. Alex Smith (QB) falling all the way to #28?

From Yahoo:

"San Francisco has also opened negotiations with three other players (Smith, Miami cornerback Antrel Rolle and Michigan wide receiver Braylon Edwards), Rodgers seems to have what Nolan has been looking for."
