Vic Interview Called Off

Just heard on NFL radio that the phins called off thier interview with Vic today. I'm just hoping this means Richard is our guy.

I would have liked the interview to still take place but if it's because Richard impressed than I'm good. He's my favorite of all the candidates including Fangio.

sounds like Kris Richard is the guy. Fangio called off, Flores was unimpressive, Rizzi is moved to later in the week, Dan Campbell not interested. As of right now who else is left? Bieniemy? We already tried offensive guru's for HC and it didn't work. Unless we plan to throw away picks for Harbaugh, Richard is the guy.

But if Richard is the guy, why push Rizzi's interview back? Rizzi should have been interviewed already. If they have no intention of hiring as HC now, this dicking him around assures he won't be ST coach next year.

hmmm maybe its their way of pushing off Rizzi nicely lol. Instead of canceling him, they say "oh lets wait till later on" and then suddenly Richard becomes coach.

Unless they were polite enough to tell him, look, you're awesome and we're giving you a raise in salary even if you don't become the HC because we want you to stay. Hopefully someone in the organization did that

Other than that -- too old for me...

The project at hand is a great growth opportunity -- not a place where you're gonna win right away.

I doubt a 60+ old HC is best for that gig.

The idea that Richard was so impressive that you had to cancel the interview with Fangio is idiotic. Without interviewing Fangio, how do we know he wouldn’t have been more impressive than Richard?

Fingers crossed they’ve had conversations with the Ravens and believe they can reach an agreement.

He is not mine … but let's not discount the fact that coaches get better offers … coaches change their mind … it's not final until the ink dries. Cancelling the interview is more of a reflection that they are probably afraid he'll be good and they might actually hire him.
